Clayton Thompson Sr.

On Friday, June 17, 2011 at INOVA, Alexandria Hospital, Clayton Thompson Sr. departed this life.  Beloved father of Brenda Laster (Freddie), Clayton “Bucky” Thompson Jr. (Anita), Iris Thompson, Marsha Smith (Karl),  Lisa Mountain (Joseph), Norma Blackmon (John), Christopher Thompson (Sheila), Victor Thompson, Kendall Thompson (Kathy) and Michele Stephens (Marshall). Clayton was preceded in death by his wife Irene and son, Jeffrey. He also leaves to mourn three siblings; William, Eugene, and Lillian Thompson, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The visitation and viewing will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Harvest Assembly Baptist Church, 8012 Fordson Road, Alexandria, Virginia (map, directions) where funeral services will also be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Committal Service, Mt. Comfort Cemetery Alexandria, Virginia (map, directions).  The repast will be held at the Gum Springs Community Center, 8100 Fordson Road, Alexandria, Virginia (map, directions).  Arrangements by Phillip Bell Sr. and Winona Morrissette-Johnson, P.A.
