John A. Laubs, Sr.

John A. Laubs, Sr., 68, of Chambersburg, PA, died at 7:51 AM, Friday, April 17, 2015 at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born July 9, 1946 at Hagerstown, MD, he was a son of the late James & Frances (Angel) Laubs. He was married to the former Cheryl Naugle who preceded in death October 27, 2004.

Surviving are four children, Louann Fuller and husband Tom of Chambersburg, PA, John Laubs, Jr and wife Toni of Chambersburg, PA, Veronica Everts and husband Phil of Berkeley Springs, WV and William Laubs and his companion Emmy Burbol of Chambersburg, PA, nine grandchildren, Chad Sites, Cody Farner, Fate Laubs, Kaden Shaffer, Abby Everts,Harlie Laubs, Kierstin Dawley, Paul Irvin Hock, IV and LaciHock and one great grandson, A. J. Sites. Also surviving are five siblings, Roseann Hansen and husband Doug of Idaho, Aileen Bly and husband Greg of East Berlin, PA, Anita Laubs of Waynesboro, PA, Mike Laubs and wife Patty of St. Thomas, PA and Raymond Laubs and wife Sandy of Shippensburg, PA.

He retired from the South Mountain Restoration Center, South Mountain, PA.

Mr. Laubs was a life member of AMVETS Post, Chambersburg, PA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Interment will be made at Burnt Cabins Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
