Carmella Bartell

Carmella (Coni) Bartell, of Milford, PA, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the age of 84 due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease. She was born in Morristown, NJ on January 23, 1934 to Lamar and Rose Bartell.  She grew up as the eldest of six in Brooklyn, NY and later moved to Milford, PA. Coni worked for several businesses in Milford, but anyone who knew her understood that she had a passion for antiques, cooking, and sharing time with friends and family.

Coni is survived by her loving companion Werner Wentz of over 30 years; sisters Dorothy (Dottie) Morey of Baltimore, MD, and Judith (Judy) Walsh of Orlando, FL; her daughter Karen Murach, with partner Michael Keelan of Stratford, CT and their son Ryan Keelan of Brooklyn, NY; and her son Robert Murach, with wife Karen, and their two children, Evan and Lauren, all currently living in Augusta, GA.  She is also survived by Michael Wentz, Tirza Wetzel (Wentz), Matt Wentz, and their families, who she loved as her own children and grandchildren, many loving members of the Murach, Daley and Riggio families, nieces and nephews, and a host of long-time dear friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents Rose and Lamar Bartell, her siblings Lamar (Buddy) Bartell, Frances “Joy” Fattarusso (Bartell), Rosemary  “Mary” Bartell, and former spouse Robert Murach.

Services and burial took place at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY, on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:30 AM.
