Birgit M. Anderson

Birgit M. Anderson, 86, of Dingmans Ferry, PA passed away at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ on February 17, 2013. She came to the U.S. in 1947 and lived in Washington D.C., in 1955 she moved to Staten Island, NY, then to Dingmans Ferry, PA in 1992.

The daughter of Per and Signe (Arzen) Nilsson she was born on June 27, 1926 in Kristianstad, Sweden. She was married to Edwin B. Anderson in Washington D.C. on August 11, 1951.

Survivors include her husband; daughter Marie Rabey and husband Harold of Dingmans Ferry, PA; son Eric Anderson and wife Karen of Middletown, NJ; three grandchildren Erin Adduchio and husband John, Jennifer and Kristen Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home 405 W. Harford St. Milford, PA on February 20, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 PM.

A funeral service will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home (map/directions) on February 20, 2013 at 8 PM with the Rev. Niels Nielsen officiating.

Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
