Richard Dennis Schultz, 87 of Milford, PA passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at home. Richard was a graduate of New York University, an Electrical Engineer for Sperry Corporation and later Unisys Corporation where he retired from. Richard was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, Milford, Pa where he was a lay leader, member of the Appalachian Trail Club, sang for the Tri State Chorale Society for 20 years and took 70 continuing education for Road Scholar. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1952 to 1953.

The son of the late Leo and Gertrude (Hunn) Schultz he was born April 16, 1930 in New York, NY. He was married to Marilyn (DiLauro) Schultz October 20, 1979.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn; son Richard Schultz of Big Sky, MT; three daughters Barbara Tynan Wright of Levittown, NY, Joanne Schultz of Rock Tavern, NY, Nancy McNichol of Bethpage, NY; step children Kenneth Gerard of Short Hills, NJ, Gwenn Gilmore of Bonita Springs, FL, Eric Grossmann of Massapequa Park, NY, Denise Deissler of Commack, NY; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held at Milford United Methodist Church, Milford, PA on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10 AM with Rev. Luana Cook-Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, PA.
