Shane M. Cowan

Shane M. Cowan, 29, of Decorum Road, Neelyton, PA, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home.

Born March 5, 1988 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of Jan & Corinne (Bremer) Cowan, who survive of Decorum Road, Neeleyton, PA. He is also survived by one brother, Jeremy Cowan and wife Victoria of Decorum Road, Neelyton, PA and four nieces, Rochelle Cowan-Doyle, Madison Cowan, Aria Cowan and Brooklynne Cowan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry & Madaline Cowan and his maternal grandparents, William & Mary Jane Bremer.

In his younger years he had attended the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, Shade Gap, PA. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Mr. Cowan was a 2006 graduate of the Southern Huntingdon Co. High School and a 2011 graduate of the Pennsylvania Gunsmith School, of which he was very proud. He was a self employed gunsmith. He had a passion for working with guns and also enjoyed hunting and riding his Can-Am side by side.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Dennis Hunsinger officiating. Interment will be made at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, RD, Shade Gap, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
