Stella Wrobleski
December 2, 2013

Stella Wrobleski, 93, died Monday, December 2, 2013. She had resided on Route 6 in Milford Township, Pike County, PA since 1952 until her admission to the Riverstreet Manor nursing home in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 2008.
Her loving husband, Joseph Wrobleski, a retired state police officer died on July 6, 1989. They were happily married for 49 years.
Born in Edwardsville, PA on December 17, 1919, she was the daughter, and second-born child of, the late Peter and Nora Nita. She attended Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, PA. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Milford, PA.
Mrs. Wrobleski was proud of the house that she and her husband built in 1952. She left to enter the nursing home only because of her loss of mobility, due to advancing age, made it impossible for her to remain at home. Otherwise, she was in good health until two months ago.
She is survived by two sisters Cazmera Baran of Kingston, PA and Louise Mollitt of Wyoming, PA; a brother Leo Nita of Pringle, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters Helen Slavinski, Agnes Nita, and Martha Magich; and four brothers Peter, Joseph, Alex, and Andrew.
