Dean Edward Williams

Dean passed away unexpectedly on Dec 28, 2019 at University of Michigan Medical Center.

Dean was born in Ashford, WV to parents Edward R. and Mary "Dollie"  (Tackett) Williams. Dean lost his father Edward on Dec 21, 1936 when he was killed in a mining accident. Dean's Mother Dollie went home to her Lord in Dec 2005.

Dean went on to enlist in the United States Marine Corp in July 1952. Dean remained a proud veteran of the Korean War. Dean married Iris June Messer in March 1956 and they had 4 children.

Dean is survived by his 4 children, daughter Cindy Fleck of AZ, twins Dean and Dale Williams of PA, and Rosalie Williams Kramer of AZ. Dean is survived by brothers Jackie, Charles, and Wayne Williams and sisters Sharon Bowles and Anita Williams, all of WV. Sister Louis Webb Chaney proceeded Dean in death.

Dean is survived by 10 grandchildren,  Dan, Kris, Michael, Joshua, Lisa, Dean II, Polly, Shannon and Erica. Granddaughter Jessica proceeded Dean in death Dec 14, 2019. These lovely grandchildren gifted the family with 22 great-grandchildren. They are Keegan, Aslen, Brennan, Jackson, Jacob, Alex, Samantha, Jacob, Marielle, Nathan,  Loralynn, Willow Grace, Kaitlin, Mikayla, Gavin, Mylea, Zack, Haylee Renee, Hayden, Landon, Koehn, and Lucius.

Dean also has 3 generations of nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by niece Connie, and great-nephew Harry.

Dean's remains will be interred in Great Lakes National Cemetery at an as yet to be determined date.
