Lewis L. Wible

Lewis Lee Wible, 83, formerly of RD, Three Springs, PA, died at 4:15 PM, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon, PA.
    
Born January 31, 1935 in Springfield Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, he was a son of the late John and Esther (Wilson) Wible. He was united in marriage to the former Jean Kough on June 11, 1960. Mrs. Wible survives of Westminster Woods, Huntingdon, PA.
    
He is also survived by three children, Keith Wible and wife Wendy of Jessup, MD, Kent Wible and wife Cami of State College, PA and Kelly Wible Hampton and husband Ronnie of Indianapolis, IN, seven grandchildren, Brooke Hamberger, Amy Garlington, Emily Wible, Casey Wible, Colin Wible, Ariana Hampton and Gabriella Hampton and one sister, Vera Thomas of Saltillo, PA.
    
Mr. Wible was a member of the Cherry Grove Church of God, RD, Three Springs, PA. He was a 1952 graduate of Saltillo High School.
    
He was employed from 1969 until his retirement in 2001 by Herbert R. Imbt, Inc., State College, PA. Prior to that he was employed by the former Miller and Greenland, Inc., Huntingdon, PA.
    
Mr. Wible was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Korea from 1957 to 1959.
    
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Lester Swope, Rev. James Lynn and Rev. Ron Dull officiating. Interment will be made at Cherry Grove Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
