Eleanor C. Vogel, 74, formerly of Tampa, FL and more recently of Mt. Union, PA, died at 5:26 PM, Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Woodland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Orbisonia, PA, where she had resided for the past 3 years.
Born August 21, 1941 in Todd Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert & Evelyn (Leaveale) Lowry.
She is survived by three daughters, Cathy Hunt and husband Mark of Florida, Barbara Crenshaw and companion Chester of Georgia and Dawna Rhodes of Florida and a granddaughter, Stephanie Smith, who was reared by Ms. Vogel. She is also survived by four additional grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Judy Willis and husband Eddie of Robertsdale, PA and Ruth Wilson and husband Clyde of Orbisonia, PA and one sister in law, Jean Lowry of Six Mile Run, PA. One sister, Helen Stanton and one brother Glenn Lowry, preceded in death.
Ms. Vogel was of the Protestant faith. During her life she was employed as a school bus driver in Florida for 30 years.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, PA.
