Edward V. Venditti, Jr. passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife, Janet, on September 5, 2013 at home. He was 75. Born in Newark Ed lived in North Arlington before moving to Rutherford seven years ago.

Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny.  Mass Saturday at 10 am in Queen of Peace church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. To leave online condolence please visit www.armitagewiggins.com
 
Ed was a technician for RCA for many years. He served in The national Guard from 1956-1958. He loved his trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He especially enjoyed his Wednesday Evening Card Club. He felt those card players were a true extension of his family.
 
He is survived by his wife Janet (nee Carrino), his daughters and their spouses Sandy and Mark Viggiano and Cindy and Paul Plessel. Also surviving are his four cherished grandchildren Sal, Gina, Rebecca and Vincent.
