William Jay “BJ” Thompson, 37, of Orbisonia, PA, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, PA from an unknown cause.
Born July 6, 1980 at Tyrone, PA, he was the son of Richard and Pamela (Leonard) Thompson who survive of Orbisonia, PA.
He is also survived by two brothers, Richard Thompson and wife Megan of Orbisonia, PA and Robert Thompson and wife Jocelyn of Shirleysburg, PA, two nieces, Bailey and Morgan Thompson and one nephew, Sage Thompson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy Leonard and Martha Hertzler and his paternal grandparents, Bob and Hazel Thompson.
Mr. Thompson graduated from Tussey Mountain High School in the Class of 1999.
He enjoyed a number of things from camping at the Branch Campground with family and friends, to watching NASCAR races, fishing and building models.
A celebration of BJ’s life will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Branch Campground, 12073 Point Road, Huntingdon, PA. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, P. O. Box 220, Orbisonia, PA 17243 to help defray the cost of arrangements.
