Gerard G. Sullivan, 81, of Lords Valley, PA passed away at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA on June 17, 2012. He was a retired sanitation worker for the NYC Dept. of Sanitation, New York, NY, member of St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA and a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran.

The son of Frank and Margaret (O’Grady) Sullivan he was born on December 27, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He was married to Anne (McGovern) Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife; six children Patricia Decker and her husband Brian of Welsley Hills, MA, Kathleen O’Donnell and her husband James of West Hampton, NY, Greg Sullivan and his wife Sharon of Upper Arlington, OH, Bill Sullivan and his wife Linda of Florham Park, NJ, Irene Coleman and her husband Alan of Lafayette, CA, Anne Marie Pellechia of New York City, NY, son in law John Pellechia and twelve grandchildren Siobhan, Christopher, Kevin, Brian, Matthew, Jack, Andrew, Helen, Emily, Rosemarie, Owen, Katherine. He was predeceased by fourteen brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St. Milford, PA (map/directions) on Wednesday and Thursday June 20 and 21, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, 705 Rt. 739 Lords Valley, PA (map/directions) on Friday June 22, 2012 at 10AM with the Rev. Thomas Major officiating.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 (DONATE).
