Emma Stains

Emma Jane Stains, 71, Jack Road, St. Thomas, PA died at 5:30 AM, Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born December 12, 1944 at Shade Gap, PA, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Hazel (Brown) Mills.  She was married to Paul Stains on June 20, 1964.  Mr. Stains survives at home.

One son Daniel Stains survives of Three Springs, PA.

There are three brothers:  James Mills and Otis Mills, Hustontown, PA and John Mills, Three Springs, PA.  Two sisters, Mary Mort and Orlena Mills, are deceased.

She was of the United Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Stains had worked as a flooring salesperson at West Side Carpet, Chambersburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home. 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with Rev. Kenneth Cornelius officiating.  Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Saturday.
