Frederick L. Spratt III, “Fast Freight Freddie”, 75 of Dingmans Ferry, PA passed away at home on July 22, 2015. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1957 to 1961 and was a retired Railroad Conductor for NJ Transit, Hoboken, NJ. Ã¢€‹

 

The son of the late Frederick L. and Florence (Hunt) Spratt, he was born in Port Jervis, NY on December 2, 1939. He married Edith Jahnke in 1980. Ã¢€‹

 

Survivors include his wife, Edith; children, Mark Spratt of Alpharetta, GA, Suzanne Robertson of Wichita, KS, Scott Spratt of Montague, NJ, Debra Burke of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Lisa Storer of Franklin, NJ and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, James. 

 

​A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Milford, PA on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11 AM with Rev. Benjamin Willis officiating. 

 

​Cremation took place at the convenience of the family. Ã¢€‹Memorial donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, NJ 07860
