Linda L. Shope

Linda L. Shope, 69, of Saltillo, PA, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at her home.
    
Born July 18, 1949 at Lewistown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Edna (Partner) Lyter. She was united in marriage to Randall E. Shope on August 11, 1973. Mr. Shope survives at their home.
    
She is also survived by two sons, Michael E. Shope of Carlisle, PA and Matthew A. Shope and his wife Dana of Duncannon, PA and three grandchildren, Emma J. Shope, Jack M. Shope and Ava K. Shope. One brother, Lee Lyter, preceded in death.
    
Mrs. Shope attended the First Baptist Church, Three Springs, PA. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mt. Union, PA.
    
She retired as an agent for State Farm Insurance, Saltillo, PA. Prior to that she was employed as a teacher at the Southern Huntingdon County High School for 18 years.
    
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
