William N. Reihart, 74, of Trough Creek Valley Pike, Huntingdon, PA, died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, PA.
    
Born November 13, 1943 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Beers) Reihart. He was united in marriage to the former Dorothy J. Scott on May 15, 1964 at Calvin, PA. Mrs. Reihart survives at their home.
    
Mr. Reihart is also survived by two children, Scott Reihart and wife Michele of Prattville, AL and Hallie Reihart of Huntingdon, PA, six grandchildren, Ashley Reihart, Nakisha Reihart, Hunter Reihart, Clayton Reihart, Haven Ritchey and Calina Moore and two great  grandchildren, Brayden Green and Ryleigh Green. He is also survived by five siblings, Cynthia Hutton, Donald Reihart, Sharon Reihart, Lisa Davis and Mark Reihart.
    
Mr. Reihart attended the Calvin United Methodist Church. He was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge #300, F. & A. M., Huntingdon, PA, the National Rifle Association and was a life member of the Smithfield Fire Co. For a time he also served as a Fire Warden.
    
He retired from SCI, Huntingdon as a facilities maintenance manager. He had previously worked at his family’s business, N. E. Reihart & Sons Machine Shop, Smithfield, PA.
    
Mr. Reihart enjoyed spending time with his family, bluegrass music, walking the mountain, watching birds and wildlife, hunting, camping and pickin’ his guitar with his friends.
    
A very precise craftsman, he also made many beautiful pieces of furniture and other wooden items for family and others who were lucky enough to be gifted with them.
    
He also enjoyed trips to Florida and to Alabama to visit his son and family.
    
He will be remembered for having a big heart for those in need.
    
At Mr. Reihart’s request there will be no funeral services or visitation.
