Donald W. Redinger

Donald W. Redinger, 84, of Three Springs, PA, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his home.
    
Born April 28, 1931 at Everett, PA, he was a son of the late Herbert & Coozie (Smith) Redinger. He was married to the former Dorothy Mae Cohenour on January 6, 1952. Mrs. Redinger survives at their home.

Also surviving are three children, Donald Wesley Redinger, Jr. and wife Darlene of Chambersburg, PA, Diana Morningstar and husband Rick of Huntingdon, PA and Dennis Redinger and wife Charlene of Sweetwater, TN, four grandchildren, Jennifer Showalter and husband Travis and Zachary Morningstar, all of Huntingdon, PA, Elle Redinger and Ethan Redinger, both of Sweetwater, TN and two great grandchildren, Jared and Cole Showalter of Huntingdon, PA. He is also survived by one sister, Dorothy Taylor of Landisville, PA. Three brothers, Robert, Thomas and William Redinger, preceded in death.

He retired in 1986 from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA after 38 years service. He enjoyed trap shooting, sporting clays shooting, archery and puttering in his garage.

Mr. Redinger was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army from 1949 until 1952.
