Margaret Prout

Margaret Prout, 85 late of Coxsackie, NY and formerly of Hemlock Farms, Lords Valley, PA died at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Mrs. Prout was a retired Assistant Vice-President of Dollar Dry Dock Savings Bank, NYC, NY.

Margaret was born to the late John Feeney and Mary (Jackson) Mitchell on September 7, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the widow of Robert Prout who predeceased her July 23, 2008.

Mrs. Prout was a member of Saint John Neumann R.C. Church, Lords Valley, PA where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also Honorary President of The Autism Connection of Greene County New York.

Survivors include her daughter: Carla Kelly of Coxsackie, NY; one sister: Mary Swanson of Kingston, NY; three grandchildren: Daniel Ryan and his wife Kate of Catskill, NY, Jennifer McManus-Kirk and her husband John of Dayton, Ohio, Robert Ryan and his wife Sarah of long Beach, NY; six great-grandchildren: Maggie, Maya, Liam, Aidan, Ryan and John (lil Bohnmbo). Mrs Prout was also predeceased by her grandson Craig Scott Wallace and her son-in-law Thomas McManus.

Friends may call at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, PA on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Saint John Neumann RC Church, Lords Valley with Rev. Thomas Major officiating.

Burial will be in the Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pike County, PA.
