Carmine Nigro, lifelong Kearny resident, died Jan 23, 2013 at Care One in Morristown. He was 84.
Visiting will be at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny (map/directions) on Friday from 4 until 8 pm. Service will be on Saturday at 10 am in the funeral home. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery (map/directions).
Carmine served in The U.S. Army and was a member of The Marconi Club and The Dons 21 Executive Club. He is a retired Superintendant of Public Works in Kearny.
Carmine finally joined the love of his life, Angelina (nee Sanssalone) in heaven. He is survived by his daughters Catherine Ravert and Laurie (and Bob) Speer, his sisters Elizabeth Knight and Emily Callaghan. Also surviving are four grandchildren Paul, Nicole, Valerie and Robert along with several great grandchildren.
