Margaret D. Miller

Margaret D. “Peg” Miller, 87, of Cherry Grove Church Road, Three Springs, PA, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA.
    
Born July 24, 1929 at Mapleton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clinton & Froan (Bair) Dell. She was united in marriage to LaFern W. Miller on July 24, 1948. Mr. Miller preceded in death on March 1, 2002.

Surviving are two children, Panda J. Horne and husband Donald of Fort Littleton, PA and William C. Miller and wife Judy of Gambrills, MD. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Lori Lupey, Shelly Kelley, Gregory Miller, Christopher Miller and Jamie Miller, twelve great grandchildren and one sister, Patricia Snyder of Providence Place, Chambersburg, PA. Two brothers, Richard Dell and Frank Dell and one sister, Barbara Frehn, preceded in death.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Immanuel Bible Church, RD, Three Springs, PA. She retired from the Southern Huntingdon County School District as a cook at the Spring Farms Elementary School. She had also been employed by Stanley, Inc., Chambersburg, PA and Sagner, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Immanuel Bible Church, 22054 Starr Road, Three Springs, PA with Rev. Steven Heaster officiating. Interment will be made at Cherry Grove Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Friends may call at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, PA 7 - 9 PM on Sunday and at the church, one hour prior to the service on Monday.
