Warren McMullen

Warren Earl “Sonny” McMullen, 79, Salem Road, Blairs Mills, PA died Friday morning, June 15, 2018 at Pinnacle Health, Harrisburg, PA.

Born November 18, 1938 in Tell Township, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late Doras and Martha (Zitch) McMullen.  He was married to Mary Goshorn on May 3, 1961.  Mrs. McMullen survives at home.

Mr. McMullen is survived by five brothers and one sister: Dale McMullen, Blairs Mills; Clyde McMullen and Emory “Junior” McMullen, both of Dry Run, PA; George McMullen, Chambersburg, PA; Calvin McMullen, Blairs Mills and Donna Holden, Orbisonia, PA along with a number of nieces and nephews.

He retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. where he had been an equipment operator. In his earlier years, he had worked on a sawmill.  

Mr. McMullen was a former Tell Township Supervisor serving for 16 years.  He was a member of the Blairs Mills Sportsmen Club and was a director of the Salem Cemetery.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting.

Private funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Marlin “Butch” Neil officiating.  Interment will be at Salem Cemetery, Blairs Mills, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 6—8:00 PM on Tuesday evening.
