John B. McCarthy, Jr.

John B. McCarthy Jr, 54, of Matamoras, PA passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Fredon Twp., NJ. He was a self-employed carpenter, musician, avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman.  John will be remembered for his electric personality.

The son of the late John B. and Madolyn (Marion) McCarthy, he was born on August 24, 1963 in Port Jervis, NY.

John leaves behind his companion, Tammy Wilson of Milford, PA; children, Kylie McCarthy, John McCarthy III, Maddy Lynn McCarthy all at home, Casey Lee Scott and her husband Jeremy of Colorado Springs, CO, Corey Nicole Wilson of Bethlehem, PA; sisters, Mary Anne Condit and husband Larry of Newton, NJ, Colleen McCarthy of Matamoras, PA; brother, Patrick McCarthy and wife Cheryl of Milford, PA; several nieces and nephews and dog, Toby.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Saint Patrick’s Church, 111 East High St., Milford, PA 18337 with Reverend Alfred Vito officiating.
