Dorothy Mayfield

Dorothy June Mayfield, 77, of Montague, NJ and formerly of Lake Hopatcong, NJ died Thursday, July 19, 2012. She was retired from Acme and Pathmark supermarkets. Dorothy attended the Rockaway Assembly of God Church, Rockaway, NJ and was an avid reader and piano player who loved music, crossword puzzles and animals. I love you mom.

The daughter of the late George and June Bartle she was born October 26, 1934 in Pueblo, CO.

Survivors include her daughter Laura Mayfield Davenport and her husband Jay of Montague, NJ; three sons Larry Mayfield and his wife Betty Lou of Kenvil, NJ, Mark Mayfield of Old Bridge, NJ, Jeff Mayfield and his wife Suzette of Forked River, NJ; brother Richard Bartle of California; six grandchildren Crystal, Erin, Staci, Stephanie, Destiny, Katelynn and two great grandchildren Anthony and Vincent; and her beloved cat Marmalade. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Bartle.

A memorial service will be held at Rockaway Assembly of God Church, Rockaway, NJ on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at 2 pm with the Rev. Rick Rounsaville officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Oakridge, NJ
