Amy M. Mark

Amy M. Mark, 78 of Dingmans Ferry, Pa passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ. She was a retired bank teller and bookkeeper for numerous banks and businesses in northern New Jersey. Amy graduated from Pompton Lakes High School (NJ) Class of 1956. She was of the Protestant faith and for many years a member of the Ramsey (NJ) Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary.

The daughter of the late Ernest F. and Mary (Swap) Bond, Amy was born May 25, 1938 in Paterson, NJ. She grew up in Midland Park, New Jersey with four siblings.  Three brothers, Ernest, John, and George Bond pre-deceased her, as well as her only sister, Isabelle Hoebee and her niece, Joanne Kirkpatrick who recently predeceased her in December 2015. She was married to the late Charles K. Mark.

Survivors include, niece, Marilee H. Ostman of West Virginia and nephew, Bruce L. Kirkpatrick with whom she resided in Dingmans Ferry, and additional nieces, nephews, grand nephews and families. In addition to family members, Amy is survived by many friends, in particular, Clarissa Rivas, her loving caregiver

Graveside services will be held at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ on August 6, 2016 at 1:30 PM with the Rev. David Felker officiating.
