William J. Leech

William Jude Leech, 82, of Matamoras, PA passed away at home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. William was a Sergeant for the Westchester County Police Department, a member of the Police Benevolent Association, member of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester and a United States Army Veteran.

The son of the late William Joseph and Marie (Mooney) Leech, he was born on November 6, 1936 in Yonkers, NY. He was married to Ruth Conlan on October 28, 1961.

William leaves behind his wife, Ruth Leech of Matamoras, PA; sons, William Leech, Jr and wife Randi of Clinton, CT and Stephen Leech and wife Debbie Piermatteo Leech of Milford, PA; brother, Robert Leech of NY; sister -in-law’s, Doris Leech and Marjorie Medvec; niece. Ruth Gaulke of Parker, CO and nephews, Seth Leech of NY and James Gaulke of Parker, CO.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Matamoras, PA on November 10, 2018 at 11 AM with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating.
