Helen T. Kurszwicz

Helen T. Kurszwicz (nee Swarbrick) died April 19, 2015 in St. Michaels Medical Center. She was 95. Born in East Newark, she lived most of her life in Kearny. Visiting is Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Mass Thursday 11:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
 
Helen was active with St. Stephen's Church and had been the Assistant Tax Collector in Kearny.
 
Wife of the late John Kurszwicz, she is survived by her daughters and their husbands Karen and Richard Polanski and Joan and Bill Gerbasio. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Jennifer, John and Jaime and her great granddaughter, Abigail.
