William C. Krebs

William C. Krebs, 78, of Hawley, PA passed away February 23^, 2017 at St Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. He was a retired Professional Civil Engineer for New York City for 20 years and worked the private sector for many years. William was a member of the St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA, Knights of Columbus St. John Neumann/Good Shepherd Council # 12571, 50 Plus Club, Holy Name Society and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

The son of the late William and Margaret (Couchlin) Krebs, he was born on November 13, 1938 in Staten Island, NY. William was married to Rita (Brake) Krebs.

Survivors include his wife; daughter Genevieve Krebs-Fernandez and her husband Peter; son William C. Krebs III and his wife Christine, six grandchildren; Peter, Patricia, Alexander, William, Grace, John and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Patricia, identical twin brother Walter and sister Lois.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W Harford Street, Milford, PA on February 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and February 27, 2017 from 2 to 5 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA on February 28, 2017 at 11 AM with Rev. Thomas Major officiating.
