Marvin R. King, 60, of Dug Hill Road, Three Springs, PA, died at 5:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.
Born July 20, 1952 at Wilkinsburg, PA, he was a son of the late Harold J. King and Ethel G. (Roher) King Clark. He was married to the former Bonnie T. Troutman on March 28, 1982. Mrs. King survives at their home.
Also surviving is a step daughter, Tera Hamby of Zephyr Hills, FL, one sister, Janet Holleran of Delmont, PA and two brothers, R. Stanley King of Murrysville, PA and Ron King of Blue Bell, PA. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. King was a member of Living Water Christian Outreach, Three Springs, PA. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcylists Association, where he had served as chaplain of the Mended Wings Chapter, State College, PA.
He had served as an evangelist since his graduation from Valley Forge Christian College in 1976, having served the Lord through King's Ministries for the last 30 years. He was also the owner/operator of King's Keys from 1986 until 2010 and was also a licensed life and health insurance agent.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA (map/directions) with Pastor Dennis Hunsinger officiating. Interment will be made at Cherry Grove Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
