Charles M. King

​Charles M. “Matt” King, 74, formerly of Doran Road, Three Springs, PA, died at 7:25 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2015 at The Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, PA.​Born July 2, 1941 in Taylor Twp., Fulton Co., PA, he was a son of the late Fora B. & Stella (Landers) King.

​Surviving are five children, Estelle Myers and Laurie King-Foster, both of Hustontown, PA, Ernest King of Everett, PA, Teresa King of Hershey, PA and Audrea King of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel King of Hustontown, PA and Harvey King of St. Thomas, PA and his companion of 22 years, Patricia Myers of Mercersburg, PA. He was preceded in death by one son, Charles M. King, Jr., who died in infancy, one brother, John King and one sister, Alice Foster.

​He was employed by Pipe Fitters and Sprinkler Fitters Union Local #669, Columbia, MD.

​Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 9, 2015 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, PA. Interment will be made at Fairview Cemetery, RD, Harrisonville, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 – 9 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
