Tammy Latresa Keels-Hall was born in Prince George's County MD, on June 2, 1978 to John Mozon and Thelma Keels. She departed peacefully at the family home in Silver Spring, MD, from this life on Sunday, February 2, 2014. She had accepted Christ and attended services at her church, Mount Jezreel Baptist Church in Silver Spring, MD.
Tammy or "Sista Tazz" as she was lovingly known as in the social club community obtained her early education at Chillum Elementary School in Hyattsville, MD. She then went on to graduate from Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, MD. Tammy worked for the Department of Army in the Bethesda Naval Hospital for the last several years as an Administrative Assistant in the Sleep, Rhuematogy and Dermatology Clinics.
Tammy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Francis Fulwood. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, David Hall; her mother, Thelma Keels of Silver Spring, MD; her father, John Mozon (Linda) of Capital Heights, MD; one brother, Tracy Keels of Falls Church, VA; three sisters: Jacqueline Thornton of Forestville, MD, Cynthia Keels of Sumter, SC, and Tomika Silver of Fort Washington, MD. Tammy also leaves her cousin who has always been considered a younger sister, Tamisha Paige of Silver Spring, MD; Grandfather, William L. Fulwood, of Mayesville, SC.; three uncles, James Keels, William Keels and Jeffrey Keels; a host of nieces and nephews along with her long-time special friend, Kerwyn Glasse. Tammy also leaves her special 4 legged friend Akei. Anyone that that knew Tammy know's how she loved her dog.
