Helena May Kee

Helena May Kee, 85 passed away August 21, 2016 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was a lifelong resident of Matamoras. Helena worked for many years at Jamesway, Montague, NJ and also Best Western Hotel, Matamoras, PA. Many will remember her for her cookies.

The daughter of the late Durward and Mildred (DeGroat) Decker she was born on September 6, 1930 in Port Jervis, NY. She was married to Harold Keith Kee who predeceased her on January 1, 1981.

Survivors include 1 son, Harold Kee, Port Jervis, NY; 4 daughters, Shirley Rivera, Crimora, VA, Betty Lou Greening, Milford, PA, Wilma Almquist, Crimora, VA, and Paula Jean Dye, Palm Coast, FL; 1 brother, Eugene Decker; one sister, Phyllis Stawski; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Durward Decker and Clayton Decker.

Cremation and final interment will take place at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY at the convenience of the family.
