Jennifer Katherine Husson, 43, beloved wife, daughter and friend passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her home in Dingmans Ferry, PA with her loving husband, Michael, at her side.
A dedicated teacher, graduating from Middletown South High School in New Jersey, she went on to graduate with honors from East Stroudsburg University. Devoting the past 20 years and touching the lives of many students and fellow educators alike, Jennifer was a tenured fifth grade teacher at the JM Hill School in East Stroudsburg. She took great pride in mentoring her students and was enthusiastically involved in her school community. Jen dedicated many happy years to preparing her students in Odyssey of the Mind, the Art & Design club, Drama club and also assisted students who required a helping hand through Response to Intervention in Math.
Jennifer volunteered many hours of her time to various charities, such as serving Thanksgiving dinners to those less fortunate. More than anything, she adored spending time with her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She loved collecting rocks and seashells and looked forward to Mike bringing a new rock back when he went fishing. She enjoyed being outdoors hiking along streams and waterfalls and more than anything she loved shopping, especially in New York City with her mom Jan.
Mike and Jennifer were married June 8, 1991 at Saint Patrick's Lutheran Church in Port Jervis, NY, the same city where she was born on November 17, 1970.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard Handle. Jennifer is survived by her husband Mike, her mother Jan Erickson Morgan, "Daddy" Dave Morgan, brother Jake Nugen, his wife Tuyet, and their children Blake and Amanda.
