Hotalen, Harvey Obituary

Harvey H. Hotalen, 89 of Milford, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Belle Reve Senior Living, Milford, PA. He was a retired supervisor for Orange & Rockland Utilities, a member of the Drew Methodist Church, Port Jervis, NY, a member of the Rossa Fleming Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. 

The son of the late Lesler and Wreath (Major) Hotalen he was born on May 16, 1926, Layton, NJ. He was married to Joan (Judd) Hotalen, who predeceased him on June 20, 2002. 

Survivors include his son Martin C. Hotalen of Tarpon Springs, FL; his daughter Rhonda Leister of Milford, PA; three sisters Virginia Pittinger of Hackettstown, NJ, Patricia Dunbar of Lady Lake, FL, Margaret Grecco of Dover, NJ; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter Aleece Benner. 

Family will receive friends at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 10 to 11AM. A service will be held at the funeral home on October 26, 2015 at 11AM with Rev. Bob Cassidy officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Twp., PA with military honors. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Drew United Methodist Church, 49-51 Sussex St, Port Jervis, NY 12771.
