Terrance N. Hoopes

Terrance N. Hoopes, 77 of Calvin, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the presence of his family on Monday, August 25, 2014.

He was a devoted husband and family man and will be dearly missed by his wife: Lydia; sons: Scott of Orlando, Florida and Leslie of Chatham, New York; his four grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and many friends. One son Mark C. Hoopes preceded in death.

Mr. Hoopes served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a mechanical contractor in Pennsylvania and Florida. A Mason, he was a very proud American who loved his country and enjoyed spending his time with his family. He supported many charities in his community and helped those in need.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, 9492 William Penn Highway, Huntingdon, PA 16652 or the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Road, Huntingdon, PA 16652.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
