Mary E. Himes

Mary E. Himes, 81, formerly of Mt. Union, PA and later of Lancaster, PA, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at AristaCare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.
    
Born January 19, 1936 at Rockhill Furnace, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clarence & Adeline (Rogers) Fleming. She had been married to Robert Himes who survives at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
    
She is also survived by one son, Jeffrey Fisher and wife Ann of Alaska, two grandchildren, Stacy Cross of McVeytown, PA and Shane Brant of Erie, PA, three great grandchildren and three siblings, Ronald Fleming of Orbisonia, PA, Lloyd Fleming of Nashua, Montana and Alice Strohm of Elizabethtown, PA. One son, Calvin Jay Fisher, one daughter Deborah Fleming, one brother Clarence and two sisters, Dorothy Miller and Catherine Gutshall, are deceased.
    
Mrs. Himes had been employed by Empire Kosher, Inc., Mt. Union, PA.
    
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Sandra Snyder officiating. Interment will be made at the I. O. O. F. Memorial Cemetery, Rockhill Furnace, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
