Harrison, Isaac Obituary
On Saturday, February 20th, 2021, Isaac peacefully departed this life. We are here to celebrate Isaac, nephew, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Isaac Alexander Harrison (affectionately known as Eckie to his family and friends) was born December 4, 1956 in Washington, DC to the late Helen C. H. Watson and the late Haywood Simmons. He was the third child of 11 siblings and received his education from DC Public Schools. He gave his life to Christ at an early age but strayed away. He returned back to the church in January of 2020. His career consisted of various jobs within the Metropolitan area. A few of his positions included insurance sales, roofing, automobile, and home repairs. He was a valued employee of Waldorf Toyota and was beloved by many at his latest place of work, the Chateau of Washington, DC where he served in several different capacities. Eckie was known for his sense of humor, generous heart, and outspoken character. He was always the life of the party and the loudest one in the room. He loved social gatherings with family and friends, especially as he cheered on the (Washington Redskins). Wherever Eckie went, he was not a stranger and became friends with everyone. If he did not know you, one would never know by the way he greeted them. Eckie will be sorely missed by everyone. He leaves to cherish his memories 3 brothers, Tyrone Harrison (LaVerne) of Maryland, Curtis Thomas (Robin) of Florida, and Ronnie Rose of South Carolina; 4 sisters Jackie Golden of South Carolina, Sharon Swann (William) of Maryland, Regina Simmons Lewis (Don) of Washington, DC, Charlene Batts (Herbert) of Maryland; 2 uncles Gerald Brevard, Sr. (Delores) & Joseph Harrison; 7 aunts Margaret Brevard, Marion Brevard, and Minnie Jackson of Washington, DC, Ethel Mae Whitaker, Ella Mae Smith, and Dora Dickson of South Carolina, and MaryDot Thomas of Maryland; dear and special friends, John Irby of Washington, DC and Arlene Jeffcoat of Maryland; bonus son William Jeffcoat; and a host of relatives and friends.
