Haciey, Carole Obituary

Carole Haciey died 4/16/11 in Columbus Hospital in Newark. She was 76. 

 

Born in Jersey City she lived in East Newark before moving to Kearny 57 years ago. Carole was an Administrative Clerk at the Kearny Town Hall and proudly served the fourth ward as their elected Counciwoman. She was a member of The Kearny Democratic Club and was a past president of the Joseph E. Frobisher post 1302 VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

 

Wife of the late Walter Haciey and Alfred Rossi. She is survived by her children and their spouses Judith and Dennis Mazol, Katheryn and David Ruff and Deborah and Frederick Kuhrt. She was predeaceased by her son Carl Rossi. Sister of Bernard Seconish (Linda), Michael Seconish, Joan Colavita (Michael), Michele Tilli (Nicholas) and Linda Solop. Also surviving are her grandsons Frederick III and his fiance Nikki and Michael.

 

Visiting at the Wilfred Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny (mapdirections) on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass Tuesday 10 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison (mapdirections). Private cremation will follow.


In lieu of flowers donations to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated.
