Allen Gatzke, 97 of Milford, PA passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Alliance Adult Living, Westfall Township, PA. He was a retired Supervising Engineer for IT&T working for 20 years in Western, PA and co-owned the Corner Antiques, Milford, PA with his wife Sonia.  Allen was licensed by the United States Coast Guard as a Third Assistant Engineer for the United States Merchant Marines, serving in World War II. He was a member of the Lions Club, Milford, PA, Milford Shade Tree Commission, Milford, PA, Mt. Laurel VFW Post #8612, Milford, PA and was a Milford Borough Councilman for fifteen years.

The son of the late Michael and Alice Mae (Milliken) Gatzke he was born on January 13, 1920 in Milford, PA. He was married to Sonia D. Gatzke who preceded him in death on August 21, 2016.

Survivors include his son-in-law Donald Board of Dingmans Ferry, PA and his granddaughter Jessi Znosko of Farmville, VA. He was predeceased by his daughter Gisele Board in 2005; three brothers Michael, Bill, Andrew and two sisters Anne and Judy.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W Harford Street, Milford, PA on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 4 PM with Rev. Luana Cook-Scott officiating.

Final interment will take place at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA at the convenience to the family.
