John David Gansor, 75, of Linden, died July 16, 2013, in Warren Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Beres, officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Gansor was born Nov. 27, 1937 in Wyano, PA, son of John and Theresia Mastihuba Gansor. He was a US Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Gansor worked for United Painters and Decorators as a foreman. He was a member of Front Royal Moose Lodge # 829, Elks B O P Lodge, and the American Legion Post No. 0423 in Masontown, PA. 
Surviving are his wife Barbara Gansor; three sons Thomas Gansor of Linden, Stephen Gansor and wife Angela of Manassas, and Mark Gansor of Winchester; two sisters Anna Mae Brnusak, and Cecilia Smith; two brothers Carl Gansor, and, Francis Gansor; three grandchildren Mitchell Gansor, Sawyer Gansor, and Kaitlyn Gansor. Mr. Gansor was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Gansor.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
