Barbara Anne Fletcher

Barbara Anne Fletcher, 53, of Front Royal, Virginia, went home to the Lord on August 31, 2012. Barbara lost her courageous battle with cancer at the Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.
Barbara was born January 28, 1959 at Prince George County Hospital in Maryland. She was the daughter of Mary L. (Muckelbauer) Andrus and of the late Harold E. Andrus.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Walter Fletcher; daughter Leah Easterday (Matthew) of Winchester; sister Teresa Duncan (Kenneth) of Logansport, Indiana; sister Linda Hamill of Bealton, Virginia and a sister Carol Colman of Centreville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Spates. Barbara is also survived by two grandchildren Alyssa and Karly Easterday and several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Barbara had just became a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener and an awesome cook. She had a wonderful love of life. She last worked as a caregiver to her sister Patricia.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 4th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, Virginia, with Reverend Kent Jeter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be on Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, Virginia.
Pallbearers are Goldie Baltimore, Tony Brown, Harold Fletcher, Allen Stine, Kenneth Duncan and Christopher Wade.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the fletcher family to assist with funeral expenses.
