John Henry (“Johnny”) Fleming died April 18, 2016. He was 58 years old. Son of Lois Fleming and the late John Fleming, he was born June 23, 1957, in Lake Hiawatha, NJ.

Johnny attended Delaware Valley High School and was a lifelong resident of Milford, PA. He enjoyed the outdoor life of his community and as a avid cyclist he could be found cycling the hills and roadways with his biking buddies, fishing, skiing, playing volleyball, tubing the Sawkill and creating a fun factor in everything that he did.

He established Fleming Trucking over forty years ago and considered himself a “truckologist.” Many of his closest friends, including his best friend, Pat Miola, worked with him in his business. Johnny with his wife, Michele, also ran the Grindstone Bakery in Shohola, PA. He was a very loving and committed husband to Michele for twenty eight years; his strong love for his family was felt by everyone. Johnny had a deep love for his pets and all animals.

Surviving family members include his mother, Lois Fleming. His wife, Michele Fleming. His mother-in-law, Renee Emery. His children Amanda, Michael, and Joseph Fleming. His sisters, Barbara Jeanne Fleming and Patricia Lutfy. His brothers in law Gregory Lutfy and Scott Gregg. His sisters-in-law Cindy and Cat Barber and Anita Gregg. His daughters-in-law, Sheila and Donna Fleming. His nieces and nephews Jesse and Julie Pelikan, Grace, Sofie and Jack Lutfy, Sean and Kelly Barber, Heather, David and Abigail Peterson and Eric Gregg. His grandchildren, Reghan and Alexa Olson, Christopher,Patrick, Michael, Joseph and Julie Fleming.  He was predeceased by his father, John Fleming, his father-in-law Gifford Emery and his brother, Joseph Fleming.

Family and friends gathered at The Milford Cemetery on April 21, 2016 to honor John’s life.
