Bertha E. Fleming

Bertha E. Fleming, 87 of Milford, Pa passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at home. She was a retired secretary for the Pike County Dispatch, Milford, PA and a member of St. Patrick’s Church Milford, PA. The daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Smith) Geiger she was born June 23, 1931 in Springfield, NJ. She was married to William C. Fleming in 1950.

Bertha is survived by her husband; two daughters Deborah Cortright and her husband Kenneth of Milford, Pa, Joanne O’Brien and her husband John of Park City, UT, two sisters Jeannette Abbott of Matthews, NC and Caroline Gilpin of Milford, PA; four grandchildren Sean O’Brien and his wife Allison of Clarksburg, VA, Michael O’Brien of Austin, TX, Caitlin Cheale and her husband Andrew Bracknell, U.K., Kevin O’Brien and his wife Katie of Park City, UT, cousin Bill Geiger and his wife Pat of Ridge Spring, SC and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, PA on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 10 AM with Rev. Joseph Marnarchuck officiating. Family will receive friends at the church on July 18, 2018 from 9 to 10 AM.

Burial will take place at Milford Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
