Kathleen Ferrara

Kathleen Ferrara, 69, of Hemlock Farms in Lords Valley, PA passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospital, East Stroudsburg, PA with her family at her side.  She worked alongside her husband in their tax business for 45 years.  Kathy was a member of St. John Neumann Church in Lords Valley, PA.

The daughter of the late Thomas and Jean (Paone) Tumbarello, she was born on November 8, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Queens, NY for over thirty years.

Kathleen leaves behind her husband, Joseph Ferrara; sons, Anthony Celona and his wife Cindy, Joseph Ferrara and his wife Jeanne, and daughter, Stephanie Annunziata; grandchildren, Karissa, Kayla, Joseph Jr., Anthony, Thomas, Isabella, Vincent, Nicholas and Carina; and sisters, Marguerite Santucci and Annmaria Van Brunt. She was preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Tumbarello.  

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11 AM with Rev. John B. Boyle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation.
