Lillian Fender (nee Mason), lifelong Kearny resident, died 2/5/2013 in Inglemoor Rehabilitation Center in Livingston. She was 91.
Visiting will be on Friday from 4-8 pm at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny (map/directions). Mass Saturday 10 am in St. Cecilias Church (map/directions) and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (map/directions).
Lillian worked at RCA during the war and than raised her loving family. The Fender family would like to offer a special thanks to Carmen Cherubini who gave Lillian tender loving care each evening and enhanced her quality of life.
Wife of the late James Fender, Lillian is survived by her children Jay (and Mary) Fender, Stephen Fender, Dr. Gary Fender, Donna Fender and Linda (and Jerry) Nolan. Sister of Jim (and Lily) Mason, she is also survived by her grandchildren Kim (and Mike DePalma), Chris (and Rose), Genna, Conor and Stephen and her great grandchildren Tristan, Gerrit, Nocole and Jonathan.
