Jeffery W. Everts

Jeffery Wade Everts, 43, West McKinleyville Road, Hustontown, PA died unexpectedly at 2:20 PM, Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

Born March 1, 1972 at McConnellsburg, he was the son Boyd E. Everts and Linda (Crouse) Everts Ramsey.  He was married to Becky Fleming on January 13, 1996.  Mrs. Everts survives at home.

Mr. Everts is survived by his father and stepmother, Boyd and Susan Everts, Needmore, PA and his mother and stepfather Linda and Sheldon Ramsey, Hustontown along with two sons: Christian W. Everts, Hustontown and Jeffery Douglas Everts, McConnellsburg.

A brother Kenneth E. Everts, Burnt Cabins, PA and a half-brother Phillip Everts, Berkeley Springs, WVA also survive.

Mr. Everts was a member of the Clear Ridge United Methodist Church, Hustontown, PA.

He was retired from Penn DOT where he worked as a Class B operator.  In earlier years, he had worked at DCNR, JLG and the Shade Gap Mill.

A member of the National Rifle Association, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding
 4-wheelers and loved spending time with his children.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Clear Ridge United Methodist Church, North Clear Ridge Road, Hustontown, PA 17229 with Pastor Betty Secrest officiating.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, P. O. Box 367, Hustontown, PA  17229 to help defray the costs of the funeral.
