Kenneth Wallace Elliott

ObituaryKenneth W. Elliott went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 3, 2019. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Donna of 39 years in marriage. He leaves behind two sons Chad and Lance; a granddaughter Zoey;  as well as two brothers George Jr. (Velma) and Ronnie (Sharrón). He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, and cousins. Kenneth was a faithful member of VFW Post 7714, Montour Valley, Oakdale, PA. Kenneth remained positive throughout his medical journey, and continued to bring encouragement and hope to other veterans at HJ Heinz VA Medical Center until his death. Most ALS patients can't communicate verbally but he was blessed to remain vocal. Kenneth contributed valuable information about the lives of ALS patients through his ability to communicate the thoughts and mindset of the patient via artistic expressions. Kenneth was a graduate of Claflin University, where he finished at the top of his graduating class. He was also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Kenneth was a Vietnam-era veteran who served his country with honor and dignity.
