Dodge, James Obituary

James Wells Dodge died February 14, 2014 at home in Shohola, PA after a long illness. He was 64 years old. Born in Willimantic, CT, he was brought up in Garrison, NY and attended the Garrison Union Free School and Highland Falls High School. He graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University.

James was a freelance audio and visual engineer who presented special effects in corporate and live events and toured nationally and internationally with bands such as Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, REM and Michael Jackson.

Besides his love for his wife, home and community, his great passion was music. James played guitar and sang with various bands over the years. Even during his illness he played with the Broke Down and Rebuilt Band with his usual joy.

He leaves his wife Margaret Steele Dodge, sister Felicia, brother Robert and nieces Katherine, Kristen, Kathleen, Kelly and Kim as well as nephews Alexander, James and Robert. He was predeceased by his brother Richard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
