Our beloved father, Lawrence Deignan, of Milford, PA, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 85. Born January 26, 1930 in Hell’s Kitchen, New York he was the son of the late James and Anna Deignan.

Lawrence served in the United States Army during World War II and was employed for many years as a school bus driver for Varsity Transit Bus Company. He met his beautiful wife, Elaine, deceased, while he was tending bar at the Irish Center in the Bronx, New York. They were married 61 years.

Lawrence is survived by his brothers, Michael and William; his three children, Carol and her husband Ben, Lawrence and his wife Karen and James and his wife Christina; His 10 grandchildren, Erin and her husband Tyler, Timothy, Amy, Shane, Daniel, Sean, Shannon, Jillian, Joseph, and Jason; and his great grandchildren, Damon and Kaitlyn.

Lawrence loved camping, fishing, dancing with our mother and most of all being surrounded by his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Milford, PA 18337 on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:00am with Rev. Paul Mullen officiating.
