Mrs. Anna Csedrik, a former Kearny resident, died on Tuesday in Towanda, PA. She was 90.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday in St. Stephen's Church, Kearny (map/directions) at 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery (map/directions). Relatives and friends may call on Sunday in the Condon Funeral Home 684 Kearny Ave., Kearny (map/directions) from 2-6pm.
She had worked as a seamstress during WWII sewing jackets for Army and Aircorp pilots. Ann was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Cecilia #811 as well as the Henrietta Benstead Arts and Crafts and Harmony Clubs. She served as a leader of song in St. Stephen's Church for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emil E. in 1982 and her siblings, Margaret Kurtz, Michael, John and George Nagy. Surviving are her sons, Emil (Dorothy) and Michael (Joan). Also surviving are 3 grandchildren.
The family requests donations, in her memory, to St. Stephen's Church 141 Midland Ave., Kearny, NJ 07032. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
